Evidence Based Practice
Pediatric Feedback Training Protocol
During my Clincial seminar class we were assigned a mentor to help give us advice on how to plan a lesson for a student of our choice. We needed to create a evidence based treatment (lesson) plan and write 2 soap notes, along with a breif case history. Our mentor met with us two times throughout the process to provide advices and changes we should make. After treatment we had to present our case to our mentor and a small group of peers. Attached is the powerpoint presentation summarizing this client and how I used an evidence based lesson to help my student reach his goals.
Progress note
At Saint Barnabas Medical Center I frequently wrote progress notes on how much progress the patient was making according to their goals. Attached is a progress note for a student with various language goals.

After treatment we had to present our case to our mentor and a small group of peers. This assignment helped me practice using evidence based therapy techniques and write soap notes. It also helped me to learn to collaborate with others and use constructive criticism to better myself as a clinican.
Evidence Based Intervention Plan
During my placement at PS 262 and during our School Aged Language Disorders course, I collected data to provide evidence of the effectiveness of my articulation therapy with one of my students. We had to provide evidence about our intervention and document the progress and decide whether the child's goals were met and how to move forward.
Systematic Review
Attached is a systematic review for the most successful dyslexia thearpy. During my Research Methods II course we created a systematic review based on a collection of evidence and presented the infomartion in a presentation format to our peers on which dyslexia treatment is most successful according to research.
